Best batsmen you've bowled at?.

JBMAC

State Captain
Peter Burge and Ken Mackay in Grade Cricket in Brisbane. Both of them would make you pay dearly for a bad delivery.

Haha, can't wait to bowl at the people on this forum on the next CW-meet up (if I can come). Especially looking forward to playing and facing Pickup (if I get the chance...).
You won't want to face me at full pace with a white windball and a tree as the stumps. Sent down a few beamers at Nath Patrick (attempted yorkers, went horribly wrong) and he managed to 'get hit' whilst fending one delivery off, if you catch my drift.

It's just to see his face when I come down the pitch and smash a "moonball" back over his head or bowl him with a perfect leg spinning delivery.
I tried to live the dream. I failed. Ended up edging it for a looping catch to the WK (Tarick at the time).

Bowled to my uncle a few times in the nets, he played for Southland and was on the fringe of making the Otago team back in his day.

Nishan

U19 Cricketer
Ross Taylor
Palmy north Boys High school he proceeded to smash the ball straight back instead of kindly patting it back but was good fun, He used run after every ball he faces up and down the pitch.

My brother bowled a couple of leg side wides to Pete Fulton when he was practising with his club

NUFAN

Y no Afghanistan flag
Mitchell Johnson. Bowled two pies at him in a junior cricket carnival which he blocked then smashed me for four.

Xuhaib

International Coach
A gut called Ali shahid, Tauseef (former test off-spnner) said he was the best batsman in Pakistan against spin unfortunatley never even played FC cricket due to selection politics.

Was this in a real game mate?
Yeah, it was a one-off where they played some country rep teams as they travelled around to state games in 2001. We played the NSW team so there was Bracken, Clark, Clarke, etc etc. Our captain was generous enough to let me bowl at both Slater and Bevan which was nice.

Nice. How did you go against Bevan?

Don't think I've bowled at anyone decent in an adult game yet, so a handful of players who have played representative cricket for Cheshire is as far as it goes. Normally it results in the ball repeatedly flying back over my head for six. Probably the best batsman that I've ever shared a pitch with was the Cheshire captain for my age group a few years back - made 85* in a cup game without a single slog, just pure timing and placement. But I wasn't allowed to bowl at him, which was probably for the best.

Alright...I hit him in the jatz crackers! haha

Admittedly it was off the inside edge, but it was still funny. I don't think he hit me for 4...went ok in the first 4 overs too had 4 overs for 13 runs, but then came the Slater over...
