When I say 1st ball of a test match I mean "1st ball of the test match"
Yeah, knew what you meant mate! :)

I'm pretty sure Barry Jarman retired hurt first ball of an Ashes Test circa 1968 or so, but I didn't realise anyone else had done it.

Umm okay....I deleted my post as I realised it was in the 2nd innings of the test...I guess your switching from tests to innings confused me ;)


Anyway, who are the only 2 wicket keepers to ever make 300 runs and take 20 dismissals in a test series twice?

Sorry, is this question too hard?????? I mean surely there have been some great batsmen wicket keepers out there.....

Rodney Marsh, Ian Healy perhaps....sorry that would be Wicket keeper batsman :)
