Not sure there's the elitism in it that the tone in your post suggest, what is cliquey though and impossible for people to understand straight away is some of the reputations and in-jokes e.g. Fuller's obsession for thumbs.I'd rather this tendency towards real names was curbed, tbh. It serves no purpose other than to show you know something that someone else doesn't. It's not just confusing for n00bs, for example I regularly find myself wondering exactly who's being referred to half the time, and I've been posting on here for more than three years.
