Only hope I can see now for these guys is to try and get as close as possible to 150. If they get that they can draw unless they bowl absolute crap. Anyway, a target of around 150 should be doable enough to allow the England batsmen to try while giving the WI bowlers a chance to make inroads and maybe force a draw. Dependent on the weather and light though.

Seemed to have sorted that problem out in the first innings but as with most of his career he's doing it again. To only score 27 of 93 runs needing 154 runs to win when you're the senior batsman is dire really. Good innings though mind you.

Powell should get dropped for these batting efforts, even if he takes 8 wickets in the second innings, IMO. It's not just that he's dire - because he actually isnt - he just bats like an idiot.

Yes but his a spinner (albeit of the non-frills variety) so he has no chance of playing for the West Indies anyhow…
