It seems to have become a tradition of late that once discussion of this week's Awards is finished, a fight should break-out in the thread.

Oh, probably best to close it after a few days and sticky it until the next one.

Just a suggestion.

TBH - I've said it once before - I'd be hugely in favour of a subforum for Awards, and once a few days have passed all Awards threads be moved into there. Myself and Sean (archie) could Mod the place (and correct any little problems like "Awads" :)) and it'd also enable things like "The All-Time Greigy Thread" etc. and easy looking back through old threads rather than having to search constantly.

I've suggested it once before, as I say, and no-one seemed to notice.

See adharcric's post for the appropriate reaction to my last comment.
Appropriate to me? haha...yeah right. I bit my tongue to try and end the argument despite rolling my eyes at the previous post because I had never heard the name Akhil before and because of your condescending remarks like "ruin you" and you had to add that smug little post to it. Do us both a favour and put me back on ignore you self-righteous little prat

I'd be in favour of this, but since the Awards aren't endorsed by CW management then I doubt it would happen, not unless you sweet talk James. I wouldn't be in favour of you being a moderator though.

Some of the things you say are actually worth debating properly, but we usually just end up with comments like "You are 16, I don't have to listen to you" sort of thing. So no, I won't put you back on ignore.

Why? Because then I couldn't be ignored? :p

As I said when I last mentioned it - if the forum was appropriately titled - ie "The Very Much Unofficial CW Awards Forum" or summat - I think it'd be OK.

I can do that as it is, and plan to if it occurs again, as it's always annoyed me a little bit ITBT. :p

As for the rest of your suggestion - as soon as an awards subforum is create, or even an awards thread is stickied, it sends the message that CW is endorsing the the awards, which is not the case. The idea of locking them may need to be looked into though, given the fact that the threads seem to break out into wars every week - quite possibly because no-one ever gets back on topic to create further discussion. I'll leave this one open because of the unresolved issue regarding exactly what to do about the Bradman, but Fiery, Perm, Richard, Adharcric - please just let the other argument go.

Hah, t'was very much a sentence that needed your safety sentence applied to. Yeah you have a good point, I suppose it's all up to James really.
