GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
Congratulations to the following:

The Sir Geoffrey Award (Most knowledgeable poster of the week) We were going to call this the Richie Benaud award, but after speaking to Boycs, he assured us he new twice as much as Richie. And the Winner is: GeraintIsMyHero hopefully we'll see him around a bit more now he's got his home 'net fixed-up
:-O only just noticed this, and I must say I'm quite taken aback. Nice one :D

Happy for you to do the Bradman Richard, can someone let me know all of the changes please:wacko:
I'd guess it's...

Prince EWS (Milestones & Jimmy Adams & Agarkar/Mohammed)
Richard (Sir Geoffrey & Inzamam & Saj & Sobers & Bradman)
adharcric (Afridi & Hussey)
oz_fan (Tony Greig & Marsh/Lillee)
Archie (Warne & Rana/Gatting)
HeathDavisSpeed (Skull & FIAB)
pasag (reserve Panel member)

This is under the presumption that HDS accepts the Skull position and as I say - would be a superb judge but would mean he either has to a) sacrifice a fair few wins of the thing or b) feel no shame (as time's no chain) at giving it to himself.

Sean, would you be happy for HDS to take the position, and HDS, would you be happy to take it?

I'm not too sure to be honest. I'm having enough problems finding worthy winners of the FIAB award. As those who watched my test career will agree, I am a perfectionist, and finding a worthy winner of awards takes me a lot of time...

At a guess, I'd say Skulls would be far easier to pick-out than FIABs, and having a Skull to give-out might make any week where there's no FIAB feel better rather than worse.

Your shout, though. And as I said when we started the Award - we can't expect FIABs every week, it's no slight on you if there's nothing suitable. :)

And if HDS doesn't fancy the Skull, could we have a volunteer - otherwise Akhil or Rob (EDIT: or Blake  ) might have to take it. As I'm sure everyone'd agree that myself and Sean would hardly make the best judges. :D

Hmmm... Tough one.

Can I defer.

I have volunteered to lead Auckland 2nd XI in the CricketWeb Club thingamejig and have no idea how much of my time that's gonna take up, and until I know, I think I have to decline. I don't want my career to have been tarnished by subsequent, unrelated unreliability, do I?

Sho. No problem. LOL at the "thingamejig" BTW.:lol::laugh::lol:

Anyone else fancy taking-on the Skull? You know the alternative. Either there is none for every week until we get someone to take it, or myself or Sean (archie) pick the winner.

Oh dear. 2nd consecutive week without Milestones?

He does have a new Mod's position so I guess there's some leeway. :)

Unoffical if possible, ie no name on the panel list.
