Meh, I watched nearly every game of the WC and really, it doesn't come close, even though this doesn't look like it'll be much of a contest either.
You watched far more than me, I'll give you that. I'm loving this at the moment, but as an overall game, I daresay the WI vs England game will top this. Unless KP scores a double of course.

I'm getting sick of the commentators going on about Bell batting down at #6, he has had success there in the past FFS, he hasn't been "demoted" or whatever. If Shah does score a ton, then I'd drop Collingwood or just leave Vaughan out.
Would Shah have batted 3 had England been playing Australia in a test match?

I dunno, I have my doubts.

Anyway I'm not really fussed, more just surprised.
TBH, it's something that I do think is important. I'm glad to see Bell at six, and if Vaughan comes back I'd want him to replace Shah.

And Pietersen gets one dropping just short... too deep AGAIN. EDIT: and slams one for four a couple of balls later.

So very pleased that Pietersen's edge did not carry.
So are the rest of us. They really should be further up... although I still think it would have dropped short.

I am quite enjoying this hot spot thing. KP's elbow is very hot.

I don't, TBH. I honestly think if this game was vs Australia, Flintoff would have been "passed fit" (if only because he'd be more keen to *be* fit himself).
I daresay he would play through the pain barrier if this game was against Australia.

It never really looked like carrying, had too much loop.
