wtf were the selectors thinkings...Lillyman, Myles, Costigan & Carrol?? dire...
For sure man. I'd beg to differ on Myles though.

It's sort of a schizophrenic effort from the chaps at the selection table. Top effort with the backs. All good blokes. Stunk up the joint with the selection of some of those forwards though.

Lillyman? He got dropped for the Decider last year for a reason! And TC...how does he continue to do it? He must have some incriminating material on the selectors or something.

Lillyman, lucky to be picked, he's one for the future but not this year...
TC, his attacking game isnt what it used to be but his defence is still outstanding, defence wins you these big games and also remember he's locky's personal bodyguard on the field.
Costigan, those having a go at this selection obviously havent seen much of the Raiders this season, hes an origin type player and now deserves a chance.
Myles, a very good player but his form hasnt been great, im happy enough to give him a chance in game 1, but if he doesnt go well then he has to be dropped...

So if you had a choice between picking Crocker or one of those four who would you pick? I know who i would pick, in a heartbeat.

nsw side i think has a few guys that shouldnt be there,. m cooper is one......b anaista is another.

surely we have a better 5/8 than braith runninga round. even gidley at 5/8.........

back row looks good.

and qld i can not believe costigan is in the side...and no slater and bowen but that pathetic winger in tate is there........

g'tee if qld loose the first game slater and bowen will be brought in!

BARNES OUT
Anasta's been in great form, him and Topou have been carrying dead weight around all season. Don't see why he shouldn't have been picked. Like I said earlier, if he's ever deserved to be picked, it's now, where he's being picked on form and not potential (or lack of any other options).

His in form, but what other options were there really. Carney not ready, but considering Mullen was picked, one could argue for his selection. Lyon played one game and fifteen minutes at 5/8. Finch is playing his first season at 5/8 and his dire. Everyone else considered has been playing in other positions. He was pretty cus there was no else as much as anything.

this is bull**** Mullen is a **** Noddy should be playing he's in his best form
Hahahaha McPinch, from a QLD POV, i would've loved to have seen Kimmorley playing just because he's sooooo predictable, and would likely buckle under pressure. He's not in career best form either.....

the Lyon thing is interesting, Manly were gonna try and name their side early this morning (which has seemed not to happen) to try and get him to serve his suspension in that game.
Is it true that the NRL are taking a sending off for St Helens into account? Complete farce if they do. If they bothered to do their homework they'd know it was a complete joke of a sending off and the RFL disciplinary panel deemed no punishment necessary as soon as he landed infront of them.

Haha just saw that Nick Bradley-Qualilawa got named in centres for Manly, with Matai, Lyon and Bell out. Didn't realise he came back from England, thought he would be one of the no hopers that just go to England and kill it. Oh well Brisbane should win by 20 now, just run the ball at him all game, he can't tackle to save himself.

He went ok in 2005, but had a shocker last year.
