Team for FC fixture vs. Red

Now that we're at full strength picking sides has become a tough job again. Su and Gough both stiff for the last bowling spot, but Patrick gets the faith due to his career record, though both of them will be seriously considered for the side if any of the bowlers are off the pace.

The last place under scrutiny was the pace bowling all-rounder spot. Ultimately it went to Gelman for his early season form, though Donald will be in contention if Gelman continues to drop off the pace in FC, especially if he can't get the bowling back down a bit.

now would also probably be a good time to show your activeness as im sure an activity check is on its way. an idea would be to post about your performances so far and someone who has taken you by suprise etc...

I'll go First:

My season thus far:

Pretty happy about my personal performances. Took a couple of innings to get back into the OD runs but now going strong. FC has been one of my best so far. No hundreds but a few lower order 50's.

On the team front i think we've put up some brave fights but with all internationals back losing is not an option.

Suprised at:

The SUPERKING DAVE RICHARDS he has been on fire with pickup on tour with the CW XI taking wickets in both forms. Was and no offence a crap OD player last year but if he keeps this bowling up he could top the OD bowling averages.

Yeah, I'll be into it.

My season's been my best by far (so far). Hoping to make at least one ton though, the HS of 99 is annoying.

From a team perspective, I've not got much more to say thatn Chaulk. I'm pretty happy with the way we fought so hard 'till the very end and gave even the best teams in the league a run for their money with such a depleted squad. Though now with everyone bar Blackman available (and even he will be back soon), we can't afford to lose games from winning positions. Hopefully the internationals will give us that killer force that will drive home our advantages.

The surprise packets for me have been Armstrong and Arnie. These blokes have taken to the FC top order like a house on fire, especially Arnie, who has admirably filled in for Simon with 450+ runs so far this season. Hopefully he can carry on the form and we can keep getting the side off to solid starts. Armstrong has been great at #3 and can hopefully do the same job at #4.

Had an alright season, buckled under the pressure in a run chase and whilst bowling at the death once, but besides that it's been pretty ok. OD wise the bowling has been great, averaging about 17, batting's been ordinary though. FC, the battings been ok, averaging around 30 with some 250 runs, but the bowling has really dropped off recently with figures like 0/99 and 1/95 which are unacceptable, especially after a good first 3 games. Averaging about 40 with the ball there, so might have to spend some time in grade to work on that.

Richards has been the star so far from mine. Keeps the bowling attack together, sometimes almost singlehandedly. Total gun.

Been fairly happy with my season thus far but there are definately areas I can improve on. My FC batting has been consistent and with the help of a few not outs I'm averaging close to 50. I'm averaging 35 with the ball which is largely due to the one spell of bowling where I took 4/50 (before that I was averaging 100+). My OD season started well but my form has been going downhill in the last few games. I've struggled to take wickets so far so hopefully I can improve on that in the future.
Everyone has contributed something to the team and hopefully now that the internationals are back the wins will start to come.

If anyone here has the knowledge to post a team could you please do so, Smith is camping and forgot to name a team.

EDIT: Nevermind, he messaged a team through to me.
