We've got a massive game coming up in OD against top of the table Green. If we win we can close the gap to just two points. The team remains unchanged from the side that won last time out against Red, so hopefully Stedman continues his run of form and big guns like Cloete and Markus can find their range. All of the OD bowlers have been superb so far this season, so lets finish our highly successful second quarter off with a bang guys.

Dominating OD display there.

Thought batting first was the tip..... oh well muahha,

Well set up by all bowlers Goughster obviously one of the greatest OD bowlers around hopefully showing his tricks to young Fox and Syed.

Stedman showing that he is a run scorin machine, both Markus and Cloete managed to go at good S/R's

pretty peeved that Smittys names above mine tbh :P

Disappointing FC draw, a game we should have won. Personally pleasing to finally hit some ****ing runs though. Markus in the same boat there too, some top bowling too.

Awesome OD win though. Goughy was sensational in an all-round outstanding attack and Stedders did well to remain unbeaten and secure us the win.

Good to see Blackman back too.

If we can continue our form of the 2nd quarter of the season through the rest of the year then we can really push for honours.

Such a strong looking team and talented players in depth in both forms.

Quite exciting really.

I'm not going to be around too much over the next week or two, as I've just moved house and don't have home internet. I'll be posting from uni as much as possible, and should be able to name a team for every game without any difficulty, but just in case it's late and I haven't named one, it's fine for any of the more senior players to name one. I've alerted Chaulk to this already so he should be able to cover me if I miss anything.

Anyway, dissapointing to only draw with Blue, but weather can't be helped. Great to see Markus and Cloete back in the runs (though Blackman may disagree :p) and Markus with a few wickets. Gelman has requested I give Donald some FC gametime as he feels he's not playing up to scratch in the longer form, so I'm going to give Donald a go in the side announced today. Blackman still sits out as no one is failing badly in FC so far, and everyone has contributed well with big scores.

The OD game against Red showcased why we were OD favourites at the start of the season. Massive bowling performances from Gough and Patrick and superb batting from all of the top 3 showcasing the massive talent at our disposal. For the next OD game and probably a few beyond I may be sitting myself out and giving Blackman's massive Grade form a chance to shine. I've played well so far this season, but mainly at the top of the order and I struggle to score quickly later in the innnings, which I'm sure Buddh will be able to do.

Any other thoughts on selection post them here and I'll read them asap.

Things starting to fall into place nicley, hopefully Donald can make the most of the FC opportunity and gun it in that position.

I can't do the write up at this point in time, but the Black player of the 2nd quarter was James Stedman. He may not have played any FC this quarter but dominated in OD so he wins the title from Arnold in 2nd and Borcich in 3rd.
