Could we have a repeat of the Johannasburg 800 runs + ODI last year? Australia perfectly placed to go 400+ here.

If he comes in later it'll be lower obviously, but if he came in now I'd back him to make over that. Flat wicket and all.

Bloody hell. It's a good job Australia are in decline, otherwise we'd be looking at 600+ :D

50 for Ponting. With Tendulkar and Ganguly perhaps finished with WC cricket now, he could grab the centuries record for himself if he gets one today. Tied with those two and Mark Waugh atm.

Behold Michael Clarke - the weak link, according to Smith.

Look, irrespective of the outcome of this game, there's just so much psychobabble crap that goes on these days - who has "the edge", who's a "weakness", etc.

Just wish they'd get on with bloody well playing, ffs.

Clarke's outplayed Ponting so far, IMO. Played some unbelievable shots. Great 50.

Either of these guys could get triple figures from here. Presumably three centuries in an ODI innings has never occured?

More rubbish from Pollock. Two full tosses outside leg in the over.

Can't remember him bowling that badly in an ODI. 0/83 off his 10.

And now Gibbs drops an absolute sitter.

edit: hahaha, Ponting's cheesy grin straight after the drop. Classic.
