This is why I love Hayden. Without a doubt the most underappreciated cricketer of our times. The anti-Watson if you will
Haha, try living in Australia. Even if you think Watson's worse than Mick Lewis, he's still underrated, given the treatment he gets from Australian fans and pundits.

This is already one of the great WC knocks - hope he goes onto a BIG hundred...
Was just thinking that. For sheer class, it's right up there. Never seen Hayden bat this well in an ODI, give or take the broken foot phase against NZ a few weeks ago.

He's just hit a four, but Punter looking quite scratchy so far. Makes Hayden's efforts seem all the more impressive.

Langeveldt to Ponting, FOUR, bit of rubbish down the legside and Ponting clears the bin with a flick of the wrists.

terrible over for SA...

EDIT: Cricinfo reminding us Davison has scored the fastest WC 100 - 67 balls. Hayden 91 from 60 and counting...

At this rate, Saffies will have to think about putting Gibbs in ahead of Kallis to give him enough time to do a repeat performance...
