I've lived in Australia for 20 years and i don't think i have ever supported the Australian Cricket Team in any match. I think most of them are a bunch of tools TBH, but thats just my opinon. Also the fact that Cricket is the only sport that Sri Lanka is half decent at plays a part, as well as my favorite sporting moment is beating Australia.

I didn't think you had a case to clear personally, you can support whoever you like.
True, but Aussie (the poster) cops a bit of crap for supporting Australia in the cricket every now and then. Much more so than Pup

Well I haven't seen pasag do that at all so it's not really hypocritical for him to say that.

Plus, aussie does seem to chop and change a bit when it suits him at times. Haven't seen pup do that yet.

No-one gets on my back for supporting Zimbabwe despite it being a politically disgraceful country either, and I've never even revealed my link to the country. Probably because I don't make a big deal of it I guess - aussie leaves himself a bit open to Fiery-like attitudes.

Yeah I know Pasag never had a crack at aussie, shouldn't have quoted him in the post to be fair.

But I do think aussie is moreso simply just enthusiastic about both the English and Australian cricket teams, and that makes him look like a glory hog, when I just think he likes both teams a hell of a lot. I don't really see the problem in cheering on two teams or whatever, in the end I think most (or at least a lot) of us are cricket fans first at heart anyway. By that I mean we'll cheer on the players we like, or believe add to the game, no matter who they play for.

Yeah, I agree with all that. I really don't think aussie deserves the abuse he gets at all - I was just offering up reasons for him copping it more than pup.

Doesn't seem like it's an issue with the Australian forummers...if I remember correctly, in regards to who he supports, 'aussie' copped it from pretty much only (some of) the English posters.

I reckon Hodge is capable of holding down #5, with Symmo slotting in at 6, Huss at 7 playing the finisher (if needed), and Watson is probably the most likely to go. I wouldn't at all be surprised if Hayden got the chop, however.

Lol dropped after a 123 in ODIs and a couple of matches after a double century in Tests. His mother will be livid!

Probably fair enough. Obviously he's in top form, but Watson's playing a different role, Clarke's an established member of the team, years younger and made 90 odd in the last game, and Hayden made a big score in his last game against good opposition.

Hodge will probably get another run in ODIs at some point because of his recent performances though, which he wouldn't have if Symonds hadn't gotten injured.

Pretty pleased they aren't dropping Watson, anyway.

Drop Hayden, problem solved. Watson is much more valuable as an opener anyway.
That doesnt happen very often when your last three innings read

181* off 166 balls

60 off 73 balls

and

29 off 34 balls

Whats with wanting to drop him anyway.... its not like he is performing badly:ph34r:

Hayden is a flat track bully. He only scores runs against runs on a bare pitch or against the minnows!

He will start ot fail, don't worry.
