Battle of the AFL Stars

Dark Hunter

State Vice-Captain
Grant is probably one of the more consistent players in the league, but Aker has the ability to turn the match around in the space of a quarter.

Grant. Can't believe this is so one-sided. Grant's an absolute star, and the fact that he's still able to get around and contribute significantly is amazing considering how slow he is. Says a lot for his footy brain.

Akermanis had a lot of years being a pretty good footballer, and until the premiership years of the Lions was pretty much in a similar bracket to Adam Heuskes. Grant's been a champion for 10+.

Aker takes it 11-4, a lot more one-sided than i expected.

SOS. Classy midfielders come and go, but SOS was one in a million. Even from 1996 -2001, the later years of his career he was lightyears ahead of any one in that position and playing on some of the greatest ever. Read so many interviews over the years from Ablett, Carey, Lockett, Dunstall going on about how brilliant he was. Gun up forward as well. Pretty much my favourite player ever if you can tell. ****ing legend itbt.

Can't believe the margin Grant lost by either.

Well considering its post 96, West pretty comfortably. Would've been close otherwise though. Very, very disappointed in the Grant result though. Speaks for the people voting and their post 2000 bias. Terrible.
