I'm thinking about expanding my stadium again for the 4th time in a season, i can't seem to get the numbers right. I went to this site to work out what to expand to.

From the basic of my last league match i could get crowds for Club Members (1968) X 18. Using this i would expand my standing room from 8k to 16k and uncovered from 8k to 14k. Im not going to upgrade the other two areas as they are not selling out. But i am kind of reluctant to have such a big upgrade, it will only cost 290k and ground maintenance 18k a week. So its not that big of deal financially, but just not 100% sure i want to upgrade so much in case it goes wrong.

The first time I upgrade i stuffed up the covered seats, so i don't want to have too much for standing and uncovered as well. But i want to expand a bit so i can get bigger crowds in those areas. Just wondering what the rest of your ground allocations are like and see if the following balance will be ok or out of scale:

Standing: 16,000
Uncovered: 14,000
Covered: 7,000 (Only get 4k but don't want to down grade)
Members: 2,000

Don't post your worthless YPs. Just say "I got an all worthless YP".
So, nobody wants to know. If you got a decent YP show us all. If you get a YP which had 0 ITS, but would have been nice with ITS, show us. We don't want to know if it's completely crap.
Speak for yourself, it doesn't bother me

Though if you could enlighten me as to your take on the difference between saying "I got an all worthless YP" and actually listing the YP, I'd be grateful. By my reckoning it's around 200 characters, out of about the 150,000 loaded each time you view the thread... My apologies for wasting another 362 of them.

It's because it's not really worth mentioning. I get a worthless player every time I use 0 ITS and so do most over people. We used to list the player and say "fired" but now we don't. We've moved on. There's not much point in talking about a YP unless he's gun, or you're unsure whether to keep him, or whether "he could've been good but I didn't use any ITS".

I'd say go for it if you have 10 days between now and your next league match. Then leave it till the end of the season before upgrading again if you want to. Used that site you listed and I'm undergoing an expansion of my own from 30,000 to 41220.

BTW I won my game against the team ranked second in my division to move into second now. Playing first place next and I'll need to win that to have any chance of promoting cause it's unlikely they'll lose any more. If I win I'll still need them to lose another game and for me to keep wining based on NRR in which I lag behind. Don't set everyine to very attacking so it's not up there with others even those below me in the table.

Look, I agree it mightn't be worth mentioning. But, if somebody does mention it, and one is moved to mention that that somebody needn't have mentioned what they mentioned on the basis that the forum had moved on from mentioning such things, then surely it goes without mention that their mentioning of the now unmentionable act of mentioning something that needn't be mentioned is in itself unmentionable, given that the forum has moved on and ceased mentioning what goes without mention.

Personally, the "he could have been good, but no ITS" holds no particular attention for me. It's random, kids. Surely if you'd spent your time lovingly pushing in 35 ITS with 35 mouse clicks negotiated via client to battrick's delightfully antiquated old school server, you'd have chewed enough time for some other sod to come along and snaffle (in a pseudo-random computational sense, of course) what would have been, and have possibly ended up with something quite unmentionable instead. It just wasn't meant to be...

Just watch. When it updates to the scorecard, Fullers rating>>>>>>>>mine.

Well, Islam's an destructive spinner, and for me he rarely did the deed for me at 3. I moved him to 4, and hey presto, he started churning the wickets out. So i think position plays a huge role, and sometimes if your lucky, they take wickets because of the destructive temperament, but stay economical because of the fact that they're spinners. Amulya's best figures are indeed 6-17.

My destructive spinner does ok, but goes for a alot of runs, he takes some key wickets though. Also from what i've noticed mainly attacking or destructive spinner take wickets in the middle orders. Most other spinner only take wickets in the last 10. So destructive spinners are quite handy, but may go for a lot of runs.
