The thing about Scotland is, the thing you have to remember, is... well... Scotland are pitiful, they'll never win anything except in truly global sports like curling and snooker. That's why you can sort of get behind tartan halfwits occasionally because there's never any danger of them actually winning something. So it's more amusing to see them get their hopes up, like when the pillocks went on Top of the Pops singing how they'd win the World Cup and then got humiliated in the first round again.

He seems so petulant to me and i doubt he'll be as popular as Henman was/is.

Except if he improves his serve, he'll be a better player than Henman ever was, and England love winners. Only problem is he's playing in the same era as Federer obviously, so him ever winning Wimbledon looks doubtful until Federer seriously declines or is injured. But he's got it in him to be a top 5 tennis player.

Just remeber Murray is youger tha Federer and has alreday defeated him...I don't think he'll win Wimbledon but he could win in Australia or US...Maria Sharapova - arogant, grunting nicompoop who has as much respect for her opponents as G McGrath has for England...and she regulary gets illeagaly coached but the authorities turn a blind eye...Geriantismyhero: You'll be pleased with D Fletcher's latest news...I supported England at the last WC but that's a matter of indvidual choice...I think Murray should have kept his mouth shut but he's still 19 and will learn....

Yeah he reminds me of me when I play sport.. Moody, petulent, spoilt, and thoroughly dislikable.. I expect he will go further than Henman who was too nice for his own good

Tranmere Rovers - well better than Forest, regardless of what the league table says

Couldn't care about anything else tbh as long as the Whites do well. World Cup, Ashes, Free Healthcare, I'd give it all up for the mighty whites to get promotion. So no point listing another 4 really.

Man U - the hate doesn't burn quite like it used to but nonetheless I was brought up a believer that they stand for all things evil. Old dog, new tricks etc.
Australian sport teams - I like Aussies generally, but I was reading an article by Simon Barnes in Wisden on the way to work this something, and everything he said was spot on. Can't remember what he said now though. Oh well
Wrexham and Chester - both so pathetically awful that they only warrant half a mention each. The local scum down the road. Jealous of their bigger and better English coutnerparts, pair of Welsh losers.
