Would you trade Bradman for these cricketers?

I reckon a drop off of Don in a modern era so I rate him around 70-80 averaging bat.
Even then he is miles above everyone. I don’t know what’s this with totaling average really. If that’s the case how can one have Sachin ahead of Miller or Hobbs above Faulkner. And ofc there is much more difference between someone averaging 65 with someone averaging 55 than there is between someone averaging 55 and 45. And Bradman averaged 100!

Anyone averaging even 65 for a 20 year full career will be well in truly the conversation for the 2nd best cricketer of all time after Bradman. It’s insane to have someone averaging 57 with the bat and 34 with ball or 22 with the ball and 37 with the bat ahead of someone averaging 99.94.

No way are Sobers or Imran ahead of Bradman.

What about this pair?

Trumper/Flower (maybe I could include one of Gavaskar and Pant as well in place of Flower)
I think sacrificing one bat to get two bats who might be of similar/equal skill to them combined would be pretty silly in general.

Would you make any trades when considering Bradman plus anyone in that average team for A plus B? You can't play 12 in your team after you add 2 for 1.

Probably something like Sobers and Hadlee/Imran/Marshall. The batting downgrade is significant, but you do get an arguably more significant bowling upgrade over your worst bowler.

Some average strength teams with bowling issues would probably benefit more from 2 ATG specialist bowlers than Bradman + meh player.

For a team with average bowling and average batting, you do need to draw from a very small pool of elite ARs. Bradman is further ahead of elite specialists than those elite specialists are of meh ones.

I mean if you don’t recognise this man I don’t recognise you as a manga reader
I mean I know its a Superman parody in Dr Slump, but it reminded me of Lucky Man (that "not interested cowardly" look and the jar of beans/whatever they are). And Lucky Man slapped!!!

more or less, his run output is nearly 87.45 RPI, people like Viv and Sachin are 46-47 and folks like AB, Kohli and Compton are in 43-44.

And then there's the level of bowlers and pitch conditions and variety and quality of opponents that Sachin and Viv faced.

Who did Bradman face that's even remotely comparable to Ambrose, McGrath, Wasim, Warne, Imran, Hadlee, (peak) Botham, Lillee, Younis, Donald, Pollock etc etc.

No one.

Lara the batter is better than Wasim the bowler. Guess Wasim's batting makes them equal, but nothing more. And Walsh is definitely (way) better than Inzy imo.
Wasim was closer to the likes of Marshall, Warne and Cummins than he was to Hadlee.

Lara was also one of the greatest 1st slips ever.

Lara was better.

Walsh was way better.
