Yes, but Blair Pocock and Marshall have similarly **** records to Papps and are worse at the domestic level, hence they suck more.I don't know if you had noticed, but the thread title isn't "Worst Test XI made up of guys who were quality domestic players and didn't go terrible in ODI stints from your country".
poor Fred, you drop one catch and they never forgetStop me, oh-oh-oh stop me, stop me if you think that you've seen this thread before....
Not sure that I have though. So here goes. As an Englishman, this has been something of a golden age for Worst XIs, so I don't even need to go beyond the 80s and 90s.

Are you joking?Might be tempted to include Rogers for Hughes in your line up. Fine FC batsman, obvz, but 19 runs in 2 innings at test level speaks for itself.
Pretty good....West Indies?

AWTA. Replace Agarkar with David Johnson.Agarkar was never a good enough bowler at test level, but he hardly deserves to be in the worst team of all time. He helped us win a test match in Australia after all. Considering the number of tests India have won in Australia, that is not to be scoffed at.
Can't agree with that considering some of the other numpties who've played in the top order in recent years. From the players that i saw playing :
3.Mohammad Wasim
4.Hassan Raza
While his talent did appear limited there is no way he's one of the 6 worst Windies test batsmen. Even of the past decade.Travis Dowlin
True, indeed. Let me give it a shot!
7) Sameer Dighe (+)
I don't know how Germon can make the team ahead of Robbie Hart, especially considering Hart kept Nevin out of the team at the time.So much to choose from....
7. Lee Germon (c)
Hart was a very tidy glovesman, unlike Nevin during his time and unlike Germon who was the ultimate coach-bitch who could slog a bit, but was nothing useful with the gloves. And he's the perfect skipper for this side.I don't know how Germon can make the team ahead of Robbie Hart, especially considering Hart kept Nevin out of the team at the time.
1. Wally Edwards
2 Wayne Phillips (VIC)
3 Rick Darling

Are you joking?
Bradman also scored 19 runs from his first 2 innings. You cannot possibly judge Rogers solely on that...
Anyone who thinks Phil Hughes or Chris Rogers is a candidate for the worst all time Australian XI is absolutely kidding themselves. The two blokes Zaremba named are easily worse, and tbh there are even worse ones than them. Dyson was a strange fella. Had a very mediocre record, yet he played some decent knocks against the Windies and England attacks of his era.3 stars of the Aussie 1981 Ashes squad must surely make the Worst Crim XI:
For the openers,
Johnny Dyson: Played no fewer than 30 matches, and scored his runs at an average of 26 and a Tavaré-esque strike rate of 33.
And Graeme Wood to open with him, 59 matches and an average of 31.
And in the, er, all-rounder's role, a man who didn't get a bowl in any of his 3 Tests and therefore who must have played as a specialist batsman, but who averaged 29 with the bat in FC cricket (and 15 in Tests). Although TBF he was famed for his canny and unorthodox bowling in ODIs. The great Trevor Chappell.

Wood's record is virtually on a par, but one has to remember he as often as not compounded his own mediocrity by running one or two of his partners out before being caught in the slips for less than 20. Same for Rick Darling.
