Question
Name the Australian born former Italian Striker who publicly said he wished he could've been talented enough to play Cricket , but in his failure took to Soccer and was one of Italy's strikers in years gone by .:)

Christian Vieri?

Not sure he's Oz-born, but certainly Oz-raised & (IIRC) lists Border as his favourite sportsman.
