I know he scored against Holland in 78, I don't know if he played in any other WCS or scored any other goals. It's not the answer I'm looking for though LOL

Wee Gordon Strachan? Think he scored against the West Germans in 1986. I remember it v clearly 'cos he was too short to get over the advertising hording he attempted to hurdle! :D

Hmm. Tricky. Italy have made the final in 34, 38, 70, 82 & 94. Of those 5 occasions Scotland only played in 1982 where they played Brazil, USSR & NZ.

Were you playing for a team other than Scotland when you scored?

EDIT: penny's dropped! Ray Houghton in 1994! Sweatie-born, wasn't he?! :D
