Although to be fair, Pleats performance in the commentary box is even worse than what England are dishing up on the pitch

Funny how the highlights of Ukraine v England have suddenly appeared in the BBC schedules for 10.15pm tonight after people have paid to watch it on the Internet believing it to be the only way to see it.

He was awful. Came up with some shocking revelations though. I was stunned to find out that Terry, Ferdinand and Cole should be on the plane for the World Cup!

Part of the deal to show them apparently, they couldn't advertise it till after the game finished.

Happy with a 0-0 draw overall, but pretty disappointed in how we played. Think our formation was definitely wrong - Bertos was essentially playing as a wing back, something he's not suited to at all, and Smeltz was playing more as a wide striker rather than central where he should be. Also, having Tim Brown and Simon Elliott together in midifeld doesn't give us anything going forward. For the return leg I'd start McGlichey in place of Brown, and revert to a more typical 4-4-2 formation.

Anyway, advantage to us going into the home leg. Would have dearly liked an away goal, but at least we didn't concede.

So all on for the 2nd leg in Wellington in November.

Anyone watch the game? Sounds like we were pretty lucky to get out of it with a draw after reading the reports.
