Isn't that too much to expect from someone who has 2 giant home-bashing spinners in his squad? And don't think his sample size will be large enough to rectify his present WPM of 4.31 even after their retirement.

If he did achieve that it would be a greater feat than Lillee or Hadlee doing it because at home (even if he doesn’t play a ton of home games), he has to contend with Ashwin and Jadeja (who are both around 6 and 5 WPM home bowlers), Kuldeep, and now seemingly Sundar (Axar for a few series)

Why doesnt cummins have similar wpm? Point is bumarh shared attack with shami ishant umesh and siraj now with akashdeep and harshit and prasidh along with spin twins. Being part of such good pace + spin attack would mean he would share some with others just like cummins shares with starc hazlewood and lyon

Cummins WPM:- 4.338
Bumrah's WPM:- 4.31
Pretty similar I'd say.

Hope we win in England in 2025. By that time hopefully idiots kohli and rohit are kicked out and we have new commers. Yes there are chance with newcomers we might struggle and even lose 5-0 but with english conditions being better to bat and us having gun attack hopefully kickout deadwood like kohli wont rule us from conquering england for first time since 2007
