Pretty pathetic he couldn’t get one in a match where Aussie bats were awful tbh. And most of that “competitive attack” didn’t play.

The fact that Bumrah has no 10fers means you go down a rabbit hole and discover that Irfan Pathan somehow had 2. Then you realise those 2 were amongst his return of 39 wickets @11.6 in 4 matches against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh, but only 61 wickets @45.5 in 25 matches against everyone else.

Bumrah's lack of a ten fer doens't detract from his standing afaic, just as Garner's doesnt detract from his despite some muppets on here trying to suggest it does for some brain dead reason.

You also need to factor in Bumrah plays for a country which often produces pitches where real bowlers only play bit parts and idiotic **** like finger spinners opening the bowling is not only allowed but often encouraged, which is both scandalous and very 19th century.

Nah ofc not, in fact I probably rate Garner and Lindwall higher than most here, their lack of 10’fers doesn’t bother me in the slightest. It is a fun stat to trigger people tho
