Even Bopara got a 50 when we beat them and I think Morgan did too. Suggests we thrashed them harder tbh.

Yea this feels much much much worse and IMO not just because it's the second in a row. This is a full strength xi and there is no one standing up like Dravid in England either.
Praveen? He'd probably make my Indian test XI.

I think Oz tho. At least Praveen and Dravid stood up on occasions up here; down under it's been pretty processional stuff.

Tremlett's a better bowler than Bresnan IMO. It's by a small enough margin for Bresnan's batting and increased likelihood of being fit (current injury aside) to surpass but he's better at sending the ball down the other end than Bres IMO.
No he isn't.

Whatever it takes!!!
Australia. India had some excuses for what happened in England. Against Australia, we have just been piss poor and they have been a million times better. It has been 1999-2000 all over again, at least back then it was only 3 tests. :(

which brings the question should India be givin more then 3 tests when they play out side sub cont?

They have justified more tests the last couple of times to Australia. It probably seemed very reasonable when the tests were scheduled.

They've got five a couple of times here in the coming years

The justification is all the $$$$, nothing else. Just like Indian cricket, at the moment, sadly. :(

Was fairly processional up here as well, bar one and a half days at Trent Bridge.

No it wasn't.
First Test was a thrashing from day 1, 2nd test was a thrashing from Yuvraj's wicket in the 1st innings onwards, 3rd and 4th Tests were embarassing aside from 1 session day 5 when it looked like India might draw or at least set England a target before they capitulated.

Plus there was an uncomfortable hour on day four when Ishant took a few wickets in quick succession

Agree completely otherwise though and I don't really understand why people think otherwise.

Australians always do things harder than the English because the latter are inherently soft.

Looking at the numbers, the 2 series are very similar.

In England, India scored 2044 runs for 80 wickets, averaging 25.55 at 3.22 per over whilst losing a wicket every 47.55 balls.

In Australia, India scored 1847 runs for 80 wickets, averaging 23.09 at 3.07 per over whilst losing a wicket every 45.06 balls.

In England, India took 47 wickets whilst conceding 2809 runs, averaging 59.77 at 3.83 per over whilst taking a wicket every 93.55 balls.

In Australia, India took 46 wickets whilst conceding 2372 runs, averaging 51.57 at 3.77 per over whilst taking a wicket every 82.02 balls.

Both utter thrashings that 4-0 doesn't do justice to.
