The only game India were 'in' against us was Trent Bridge but as soon as Broad got his hat-trick that was pretty much one way traffic

At Lord's India had a good spell in the 2nd dig but still never got close to actually being in with a shout. At Edgbaston they were embarrassing and in The Oval they were optimistic that they might have had little enough time to bat out a draw but still lost by an innings.

Not to say we thrashed them harder than our Kylie-worshipping cousins but to say India were in a few games over here isn't true, IMO.

Don't think there was that much talking up before the Australia series, tbf.

But yeah the second away thrashing in a row and that too, to a team that was struggling itself till we arrived hurts more.

Definitely should be Australia from a neutral point of view. There's something very disturbing about the way they are winning this series. Almost as though they're putting an injured animal out of misery and grinding them underfoot. Brings back memories of their dominance of old which tends to last for years and years. When England beat India, it was more like knocking them off their perch and becoming the best. The defeats to Australia, on the other hand signifies something different and hence I'd say its the Aussies that deserve to win this poll.

Yea this feels much much much worse and IMO not just because it's the second in a row. This is a full strength xi and there is no one standing up like Dravid in England either.

It's also because from an indian perspective England have been beaten away before and likely will be again while Australia never have been beaten and this was the best chance. To go from that to being 0-4 is much more frustrating.

Australia quite easily tbh.

A bit of luck here and there, in the England series, and the scoreline would've been 4-0 in favour of India.

Us (Australia).

You let "Wall-with-gaping-hole" score however many runs against you whereas we figured out that if you bowl the under 8 line he get's bowled a lot. I mean, how good is your (Englands) attack really?

I know we let Kohli score a ton but it was Adelaide and I think Clarke did it on purpose so that we could get a full day's play on Australia day.

:laugh::laugh::laugh:Cringe.

A bit of luck here and there for that scoreline would have had to involve the entire England vanishing off the face of the earth.

If I were an Indian fan quite clearly the Aussie series. Not just because of the previous whitewash against England but also as mentioned India are at full strength which really deflates you. At least after the English one Indian fans held some hope that Zaheer could have made a difference. And then there is the fact this Australian attack was no where near the standard of the English one before the series. Siddle was still in the iffy zone, Hilfy first match since the Ashes debacle and the injury prone Harris. We even threw in Starc for good measure.

it helped us to get some movement from CA who had ridden on the back of McWarne for a decade.

Will a loss in adelaide take Fletcher to 0-9 as coach down under?
