Gayle is a better batsmen than Flintoff but is, at best, a part-time bowler.

To be honest, that poll will prove very little considering the options containing not only allrounders but wicket-keepers - I realise many regard the keeper batting and wearing the gloves as being an allrounder but for a poll like this it seems a little strange.

I'd have to wonder why Clarke and Ruldoph are on that list - I've only ever seen Rudolph bowl two overs (ironically I seem to remember him dismissing Michael Vaughan!)

So if those two players and wicket keepers are removed...
Andrew Symonds
Abdur Razzaq
Andrew Flintoff
Shoaib Malik
Jacques Kallis
Sanath Jayasuriya
Shaun Pollock
Shahid Afridi
Scott Styris
Chris Gayle
Jacob Oram
Chris Cairns
Maybe the likes of Paul Collingwood and Andrew Hall could be added too. I'd have to go with Andrew Flintoff though, based on his destructive form over the last year - and his performance during the second test backs that up.

If you're going to have Clarke and Rudolph on the list, shouldn't you have Vettori too?
Yeah, actually I completely forgot about Daniel Vettori when thinking of who might be possible additions to that list - definitely agree, his batting form has picked up incredibly and his bowling is world class these days too.

i think gayle has the potential to be better than flintoff.
Haha, yeah right. Gayle's a decent player, very powerful, but Flintoff is in a completely different class.

most of those (Gayle, Jayasuria etc) are batsmen who bowl abit, or (like Pollock) are bowlers who can bat abit.

Symonds, Razzaq, Flintoff, Afridi, Styris, Oram and Cairns are the only ones id really count as all rounders there.
