Which team would win

Tbh, I think it's a massive ask for each of the openers so there's a good chance the advantage whichever team has in that department is getting neutralised.

Trumper probably has the biggest reputation of the openers on show, but the challenges in his era were markedly different. There's a good chance he would do better on the wickets he played on than the other guys because he was more experienced on them, but Greenidge was more experienced in facing the kind of bowling on the kind of wickets that will be on show in this series.
I'm not won over by Trumper's reputation. He performed better down the order.

I think 97 attack was among the Best Ever honestly. Ambrose, Walsh, Bishop, kinda hard to topple.
That attack was elite 2-3 years earlier. Ambrose&Bishop had both lost a yard by then though and Walsh was a great support act but not as scary as the other two. That series was played on some slow pitches too. Ambrose was becoming more defensive on dull pitches. Dravid does take credit for the 78 in Barbados.

I think Australia win 2-1 or 3-2 in this arrangement.

Australia favorites in Leeds, Johannesburg m, Kolkatta.

WI win Perth.

Even if reduced, Bradman will average in the 70s likely so can still be the difference between sides.

Lillee and McGrath will just be an awesome opening bowling combo and as deadly as Marshall and Ambrose on bowling pitches with able support of Miller.

Great attack on paper only. That was Bishop version 4 or so after yet another back injury. And well, Ambrose was great as always but not the same since shoulder surgery 3 years earlier. Still, credit where credit is due and Dravid did just fine.
