Family members are from Portugal . Still many businessmen from my family are living there in Portugal .In the Portuguese restaurants a whole chicken is of 7 bucks (thats it ) . Lovely ,warm and beautiful people. Nice culture and I am planning to go there very soon especially Lisboa.
And I respect their 'by hook or by crook method of atleast trying to bring home the glory' attitude

I never like to create a thread when one exists & this is a pretty good article as to why Bill Simmons came to choose (entirely wrongly) his English Premier team. A few basic errors of fact (Paul Jewell in a leather trench coat?!?), but entertaining stuff.

I supported Blackburn from the age of seven until probably about 17. The important thing was that, in 1993/94, everyone supported Man Utd and I needed someone else, I (even as a seven year old) wasn't following the bandwagon... and I think I already hated Alex Ferguson. Blackburn were the obvious answer, from the same part of the country as my dad's side of the family (great great great grandad was a PC there in the 1870s, but I only found that out this summer), and I absolutely worshipped Alan Shearer. So it was Rovers.

Now, of course, I know that standing in the cold watching York City have one shot to your nineteen and still win is what real support's all about. Roll on the new season. This year we're going up.
