As the title suggests, which pacer was able to consistently achieve the highest degree of lateral movement across conditions?
e was more seam.Mohammad Asif was a menace
Ball was moving in the aire was more seam.
Not that much.Ball was moving in the air
My apologies...I was watching matches on tv back in the day with very cloudy display, so I thought that the ball was talking in the air.Not that much.
More off the pitch. My apologies...I was watching matches on tv back in the day with very cloudy display, so I thought that the ball was talking in the air.
Steyn was late more due to the angle of where he bowled. At high pace, Gillespie and Steyn. But Gillespie did it from the hand, Steyn's was appreciably late swing.
Akram was more late swing. I think Imran got more overall lateral movement on average thanks to his action (just inswing).Wasim Akram
I don't think so. Imran would sometimes get those hooping in swingers but so could Wasim (just look at his year 2000 tours of SL and WI incredible swing in the air). Also Imran's more lethal in dipper would come in off the seam a long way usually.Akram was more late swing. I think Imran got more overall lateral movement on average thanks to his action (just inswing).
