I was reading Twitter where England fans were complaining how biased Indian commentators are . So which Country has most biased and neutral Commentators?

New heroes have emerged from the ashes of a team decimated by absenteeism.” — Ian Bishop, after West Indies have completed the whitewash against Bangladesh last month.

All of them. Anyone suggesting the contrary has blinkers on.
This.

Australia in the 00s were peak in that they wouldn't know a thing about any overseas players. "Who is this young man" comes out to bat - he's played 30 Tests and averaging 40

the single most cringeworthy line i remember from a kiwi commentator was simon doulls "who cares about england" line when fapping to ryder smoking them around the park.

Yeah, luckily this seems to have changed with 9 having the cricket taken off them.

I feel like there's still some evidence of this existing, but it's much less notable without 9, yeah.

Most biased since 9 left the building is probably India. Least biased has pretty much always been England. But Burgey is right, all commentary teams have at least some form of partisanship.

england can be pretty head patty for a comm box representing a mid table side, which i think lets them slip under the radar of the obvious cheerleading in other boxes.

spark have been pretty simpy for nz, and it sounds so forced at times i think it's a directive from above.

Whatever it takes!!!
I think the Indian comms are more India-centric than India-biased, if that means something. And I can actually see why that would be even more annoying. I dont think we have completely C9 level atrocious right now among any of the comms, you have the 2 or 3 per box that seem to be C9 level biased but then you also have others who are not that biased, even if they are not very good at the actual commentating and stuff. Plus, it does seem to be a bit of a proper directive now to commentate in a way to engage the casual home audience or whatever. Ian Bishop is awesome and I think Deep Das Gupta has potential to be very good. Swann is very chilled out on comms which has been fun to listen to after listening to Butcher whinge every ball in the tests. I suppose Nasser and Atherton are still the gold standard in commentary around the world, almost by default.

Sparks Test coverage didn't seem too bad but the one day/t20 stuff was verrrrry one eyed

The Indian comms are largely ass kissers, thought it’s hardly their fault considering the fallout if you express views that don’t toe the BCCI line.

Even the foreign commentators are afraid to say the wrong thing during India games.

It's weird, isn't it ? They have to toe the BCCI line and yet they let whinging like Butcher's go. They care more about certain things than just cricket facts, that is for sure.
