Indeed.

Ponting in India 2001 was so horrendous. Stands out in my memory as maybe the absolute worst for a player I really rated. It basically remained a blight on his record he couldn't overcome. 17 runs in 5 innings at 3.40 rendered his career record in India forever shithouse.

Wasim in the 99 series in Australia was probably the worst I saw from him. He had two great tours before that but seemed toothless this time and wasn't even given the same respect usually afforded to him by the Aussies.

Like wtf is up with West Indians and mucking it up in NZ?? Lol lol

Viv's series was really weird, because while he made only 77 runs in the three Tests, those runs came off just 86 balls. Watching the old film of those matches you see that in almost every innings he came out looking in fantastic form, but then managed to get out almost immediately!

I would have put it as the 96 tour but he got a ton in the last test.

97 was also Ambrose worst series.
