Well Bairstow won't hang about on day 2 if he gets going. They need to up the rate and get to 450 as soon as they can and get bowling as they are struggling to get the wickets to win. Good to see Adams get runs, about time.

Good rotation of the side, means virtually all the squad are getting a chance to impress which is how it should be with the Lions team.

Still can't quite get my head around Keiswetter as an opening batsman in a first class game.

Suggests there's very little in the pitch for the new ball bowlers, but 260-4 suggests it's been very slow, even with the rain break. Could well be something there for Briggs and Rashid.

CCC were bowled out for 328 in 125 overs, the Lions leading by 45. Clearly going for the win, CK took the attack to them after tea.

CRAIG KEISWETTER launches onslaught on Brathwaite smashing 18(4,4,2,4,4) from 1st over after tea. 58-0
Keiswetter got his hundred shortly before the close, from 111 balls. The Lions finished on 168-0 at stumps. CK 102*, Adams 56*. The lead is now 213 runs. If the spinners can get something out of the 4th day pitch, they're looking well set for the win.

At the end of the penultimate day's play, the Leewards were 132-5 in their second innings, still 67 runs in deficit, with Tonito Willett (59) and Jahmal Hamilton (25) the not out batsmen. Medium-pacer Dave Bernard has taken four wickets in this innings so far.

The Lions were 168 without loss in their second innings, Kieswetter racing to 102 at stumps, while Adams was with him on 56. Their first innings lead is a mere 45 runs, so they will have to bat fast if they want to declare and leave the CCC a significant target.

Sherwin Ganga was run out for 31, but at the close Trinidad reached 127-4, in effect still less than 100 runs in credit against the Windwards. Darren Ganga is 62 not out and with him is Ramdin on 14, while Deleon Johnson has taken two wickets to date.

Guyana were 90-4 at stumps in their second innings, having lost Chandrika (24), Fudadin (11), Johnson (21) and Gajanand Singh (2). The not out batsmen are ROyston Crandon (15) and Vishual Singh (9), while the main destroyer for Barbados in this innings is Stoute with two wickets.

JAvLI: GAME OVER: Hyatt blasts his 3rd boundary to take Jamaica 13/0. Hyatt 13*, Jackson 0*. Jamaica 12 points, Leewards 0.

Despite Fletcher's 67 and a knock of 33 by James, none of the other Windwards batsmen really came to the party, as they were dismissed for 172. Seamer Rayad Emrit took 4-40, young Cariah took three wickets, and Jaggernauth two.

In contrast, the Lions bowling failed to bowl out a side in their second innings, as the CCC comfortably secured a draw in their match, reaching 204-7, with Brathwaite and McClean not out on 11 each. But the draw had already been secured by a 99-partnership between Jamaicans Bonner (72) and Thomas (22). Woakes, Harris and Chambers took two wickets each....

Barbados reached 87-4 at stumps, as their match against Guyana also ended in a draw, Stoute on 24 and Chase on 18. Bess, Permaul, Fudadin and Johnson took one wicket each.
