when every aspect of his action does not fall in place looks like he would bowl lots of leg side rubbish looking how he bowls..let us see.. that is his test during difficult times..With his action he needs the ball that holds its line around offstump..will make him more deadly..has been fun to watch though..

Yeah the natural angle of his action does look a little Jimmy Chigumbura, now that you mention it.

He's the White Bradm....er, the Aussie Brad... I mean to say, he's quite good.

Seriously, the parallels with Hussey are quite striking. Both played lots of Tests against WI at the start of their career. But you get the feeling with Voges's big scores that they came when Australia were on top anyway (apart from the first ton against WI). Not that it takes anything away from him.

Need to watch him bat sometime soon to get a better idea.

Considering for most analysis people tend to filter out batsmen who don't have atleast 20 innings, Voges should probably look to play a couple more Tests and try to keep his average up before retiring.

Hope he remains not out this innings, isn't required to bat again this test, and is only required to bat once in the next test too.

He can then retire having successfully hacked cricket statistics, and will feature on the top of most statistical analysis for decades to come.

It just makes me in awe of the Don even more seeing this. Voges has more than a third (currently) of his innings not out, has made plenty of runs. The Don had only an eighth of his innings where he remained unbeaten. His scoring was so prolific.
Well done to Voges though, the greatest of all

Imagine if Australia had actually picked the new Bradman in their team for the last 10 years. Frightening to think how good they'd have been.
