Generally not. But when you see so many more byes than you see for other keepers. And the two times I saw 0 and low single figures, it was for another keeper who was filling in, it's clear as **** that he wasn't good.
As you have seen Flower keep, any insight to share from what you've seen?

Being automatic means there isn't any remote competition. The only automatics are Sobers and Bradman and possibly Gilly. Everyone else is arguable.
Automatic means you will make every team.

Sachin is automatic, Marshall is also automatic.

The semantics and hoops people are trying to jump through to deny that is actually laughable.

If you're making a team all 4 of those guys are sure to make it.

Every time we make a team, at least 3 of them are unanimous, if a few of you to decide to change that going forward, more power to you, but Marshall has consistently made the two major ones, and ours, unanimously. He gets more votes than Gilchrist.

So tell me the argument against Sachin and Marshall taking into account there are 3 bowlers and 2 middle order batsmen.

I don't quite understand the obsession with SRs. There are 5 days in a test match and enough overs to bowl sides out. Would a SR of 60 instead of 50 make a huge difference?
I don't get these types of questions.

What does a higher strike rate bring.

Applies pressure to the fielding team. Cause change of fields, rotations, lines etc, taking bowlers off their lengths and game plans. In a session you can turn the ride if a match rather than playing into the hands of the opposition.

Then there's the multiple instances where quicker runs are needed to set up a total or declaration, or even win a game.
There's instances of missed time due to rain or other occurrences.

And the ability to do these things set players apart from their peers.

Marshall doesn't make every team. I have seen plenty where he is not included.

I already mentioned, you can have an attack of McGrath, Hadlee and Steyn or Imran and have all bases covered to the max.

I also have Tendulkar and Marshall but I don't pretend they are irreplaceable.
