Just can't look past how bad Sehwag was in SA, England and NZ. One of the best flat/slow pitch opener ever but so poor when the ball moved.

I don't think Sehwag is a top 5 opener since 1970 tbh. Needs a better record where openers are generally needed most.

More interesting that Amla couldn't beat Sehwag tbh. I assumed Hashim is held in higher regard than Kevin.

I think Pietersen is generally a bit overrated but Flower doesn't have a hundred in SENA. Don't think that's an inexplicable result.

Flower made an unbeaten hundred against Walsh and ambrose on a pitch where no other batsman managed a fifty.

I actually voted for KP here but I'm not sure why. I think Sehwag was marginally better.

Flower comfortably better than both though, not sure what some people are smoking.
