Flower made an unbeaten hundred against Walsh and ambrose on a pitch where no other batsman managed a fifty.
I've watched that innings several times and while being dropped is part of cricket, it highlights the issue with such small samples because Flower was dropped a few times on that occasion and on another day that wouldn't be part of his resume against other players.

Brother, I don't really care about the quality of the innings I don't have a clue. But "SENA" only became a thing because WI declined . Getting a hundred in WI in that era surely means more than if he got one against Mullally or Dion Nash ffs.

Yeah it's one of his best knocks

The result was Flower 22-19 Pietersen and I voted for Flower, but there are convincing arguments that Flower generally isn't proven enough against pace bowling.

So tough to assess when he didn't play very much against, Australia/England/South Africa in my humble opinion. His performance in India was very noteworthy when he pretty spent the entire test on the field in one shape or form.

Flower is very underrated here.
Yes he does have some holes in his record, part of that is just consequences of playing for Zimbabwe. He was an excellent batsman.
