Well if India wanted an easy pitch and a weak team they got it. Be interesting to see how they go as there are plenty of them in that side who need to find some form with both bat and ball ahead of Wednesday.

They are going for promotion so you can't blame them picking a weaker side. What if the best players get injured in a meaningless 2 day game and it costs them?

It's a fair point either ways.India would like to play against a proper domestic side whereas the county team won't risk their best players for a match that is of no importance to them.
Moreover,they look to give their fringe players a chance against a top test team!

Probably way behind, the 14-0 is after 5 overs so unless the Northants bowlers are Tim Munton reincarnated then they are about 15 minutes behind.
