Time for an England white ball rebuild

Based on what exactly? I read that Morgan wants to spend time with his young family, but surely there's someone available who has some sort of expertise in the white ball game as it's played nowadays.
Morgan doesn't want to give up his SKY job with it's money just yet. I wish he would as listening to him is awful...

Mott gone which was the right decision

I hope they give the job to an Englishman
Not really that bothered. Are there any compelling candidates? Somerset have been one of the better short-form sides recently, so Jason Kerr? Key is going to choose a coach based on 'vibes' - so Freddie it is.

I love the idea of it being Freddie because he’s Freddie. And if he’s not our best ever white ball player then it’s only because the current captain is.

The downside is if it goes badly I get to read people on here calling for his head and have to spend all my days reporting their posts.

Busy with his red ball job sorry
You wouldn't want him if he was up for grabs?
260 ODI's is a wealth of experience and he may actually be tactically better in the shorter version of the game.
However have no idea how he stands in popularity in England atm and assume he's made himself unavailable.

Wouldn’t want him if it was at the expense of the Test side. And looking at our schedule, you can’t go back to having the same coach for both.

Please anybody but freddy. I think Tresco is in charge for the mini ashes in september, 3 T20s and 5 Odis.
If the rain stays away could be entertaining.

I would give it to Freddie Flintoff. The players respect him and he's bulit a good rapport with them. Give him a chance is my verdict

Baz is appointed white ball coach as well test team. A bit of bazball might be what they need. But he wont take over til next year so Tresco continues for now.

Meanwhile Oz take on scotland tomorrow 2pm local.

Australia T20 squad: Mitchell Marsh (c), Sean Abbott, Xavier Bartlett, Cooper Connolly, Tim David, Nathan Ellis, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Cameron Green, Aaron Hardie, Josh Hazlewood (England games only), Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Riley Meredith (Scotland games only), Marcus Stoinis, Adam Zampa

A few new names for me there in particular, Connolly a SLA who made 90 in the SS Final which WA won by a huge margin.

Is the squad the same for the odis with england or will the usual big names arrive?
