Tim Paine ***ting scandal, will resign

Stupid thing for Tim Paine to do but this will benefit Australia as really he wasn't good enough to get into the side

i really can’t believe this: if everything was consensual, which if the HR reports of both CA and tassie are anything to go by it was (going off what burgey posted), then sure it’s morally oblique and a **** bloke thing to do but it’s not a sackable offense

obviously that all changes if it was unsolicited or he’s a conservative politician pumping the family values train but outside of those two specific scenarios ya can’t give the bloke the boot surely

I think it would be great we can get an extended post on the xi with relevant pics attached and a short description of the incident

what changed is pretty a simple: a media organisation was able to line the ducks up and be in a position to run the story, including the other person's complaint, which has obviously led to Paine and CA accepting the game is up and that the captain of the national cricket team can't head into an Ashes summer with that hanging over his head.

which he couldn't

Can't believe Cricket Australia did the same thing as in the late 90s when they covered up the 'John The Bookie' scandal Mark Waugh & Shane Warne were involved in for several years.

What a terrible cricketing organisation they are, not only for the mistakes they make but they don't even learn from the ones they do make.

One all rounder too many. Apt for HB to do the cheerleading and stick with the theme of this team.
Needs Tino Best and Franklyn Rose
