Chess is actually really interesting professionally, I'd take that over horseracing or golf anyday

Most chess players would find studying chess interesting (i.e. following the games of grandmasters) and I guess this isn't too different from watching a game being played live. Usually a lot of players on fics watch the grandmaster games. However when I visit the chess
server its usually to play chess and not watch someone else playing, so for me playing chess is fine but I would probably be bored watching a game live (considering how long each player takes to move).

Yes well done for pointing that out.

Although I will mention that not so long ago Coventry made it to the FA Youth Cup Final (lost to West Ham I believe) and we do actually have a fair few trainees coming through.

By far the worst sport to watch is horse riding in any shape or form, but especially when they pop in some bland piece of music and make the poor beastie go sideways and all.

The really bad category comprises field hockey, golf, and Formula 1 racing after turn 1 on lap 1.

Honorable mention goes to ice skating.
