They didn't last night ;)
oh well never mind, it just did not happen for us but when you missing Kabir,Hall,Hayward,Singh,Hick, it does not fo your chances any good

If Warwick would have lost Younis,Obyna, Bell, Powell, Troughton and Giles (The Latter 3 where missing for warwicks) it would have have been a major worry for Warwick

But the 11 out ther are pro cricketers and they should have done a job for Worcestershire last night

And now Rhodes is Injured can it get any worse

Oh, man.

I couldn't get to today's Derbyshire game.

Bowled the old enemy (Notts) out for 94, clobbered them off for 1 wicket.

What a game to miss.

Worcestershire have no recognised keepers as David Pipe is injured as now is Steve Rhodes! :(

Smug time - sometimes I even surprise myself.
Tonight, amidst the random key depressions which constitute an evening's work for me, the following fell off my keyboard and into my word processor :

One Ryan Sidebottom over was smashed for five fours by Law, but it was Loye who took the plaudits, clubbing three massive sixes. The last one would have brought knowing nods of approval from many a cricketing village blacksmith as a mighty heave over 'cowshot corner' took one bounce in the top of the stand before leaving Old Trafford altogether.

I think it is proving a Success so far. But perhaps they should be more Matches
I think too many would be overkill and it would cause the other County games to be squeezed out.

yes i agree, any more and batsmens techniques will be altered...
As long as there is not to much of it batsman's techneque should not suffer to much.

You need good techneque to hit out as well so while it may be reducing the value of a good old front foot defence it will improve players techneque in playing lofted drives etc... and learning to imprevise more .

Well, as a Warwickshire fan, it's come at the right time - the team is beginning to get that winning habit back, and currently Neil Carter is playing one of his once-a-season knocks!

Collins Obuya 5-24 giving him 8 wickets at 8.12 in 10 overs so far.

If he were English Chris would have him in the team by now ;)

Actually though, looking down the economy rates, the best bowlers are predominantly spinner (relative to the number of spinners playing) - quite strange really.

Top bloke - hero of Cricket Web.

It's the old adage about making the batsman put the pace on the ball, I think.

And no, Chris wouldn't have ANY Warwickshire player near anything. :P

This is probably a very ignorant question, but is Cork injured, or does he just not bowl anymore?

Derbyshire 13-2 in reply - could be close.
But a certain Mr Di Venuto again produces a top knock, and Derbyshire are just 13 away from victory with 7 wickets in hand, I know where my money is.

Yup.

Win for the lads.

I can't help but think that Derbyshire have found a different way of playing this game - proper cricket, almost.

In the 3 games played so far, Corky has bowled - and goes for around 4 an over
