Just an idea I had. But I thought it might be a good idea to give rewards to the 2nd XI Manager and the 1st XI Manager if their 2nd team does well. I'm not sure how as the only thing I can think of is the draft but per haps there's a way to work it in?

Personally, if I manage the 2nd XI myself I'll just be watching how a few guys go and not really take into account how they're going in the actual league. Just a thought though.

I do love the idea of the 2nd XI's though. Like I said, I'll be watching how a few guys go and you'll also be able to give some experience to rookies and given their small amount of games some of the rookies who you would throw away might be keepable and stuff. So should be an interesting concept.

without having read into the opinions much but rather the first post on simons and a few of blewys post im really diggin this new idea.. would love to see it in action and how it evolves from there....

and yeah as cloete just mentioned the idea of the 2nd XI is great.. gives the fringe players more of an opportunity than they would get and keeps players refreshed.. just hope it doesnt carry on to a 3rd XI and 4th XI in the future heh

I think it wouldnt just as it would be the same at present.

academy stats did, so you would hope it would be same.

All averages will count... We want the 2nd XI to mean as much as the 1st XI, it helps keep people involved and interested more..

Looks good hopefully i can get a 2nd XI contract, and maybe continue my 'unofficial' role as Colts assistant coach, but i would be happy with any position.

haha i doubt the first team manager of whichever 2nd XI side you manage would want that many reject players in their squad
