Only thing is, how are you determining draft order?

hmm, oh come on, simon. i wouldn't let that happenbroncoman said:theres going to be so many good players Moore may not neccisarily go first, look at teams like Warwicks who have a lot of awesome players and they will be drafted at this stage...
just get a 2nd XI manager who is a regular on MSN...Slats4ever said:sounds good so far... when are we planning on starting it off? can managers fire their second XI managers? i think it shuld be made mandatory that all managers have MSN so we can talk about teams with other managers
Wouldn't really bother me, i only get on MSN once every blue moon. Also if i get the assistant manager i want, then all i have to wait tell he gets back from school or his girl friend place to talk about the team.Slats4ever said:but everyone will want that. wouldn't they?
I just put together a potential 2nd XI side for the Colts and their batting line up is one par if not a little better then the current Colts batting line up (in the old comp). The bowling attack looks weak, but better then the bowling attack i had with Ottawa. Most of the sides should be better then the sides these managers might have managed in the academy.cometer said:Sounds promising. The 2nd XI idea could work , it would give more people opportunities and to settle in as already mentioned but also could encourage the 1st XI manager to be more active and more careful with selection. Besides this they could work out more options with the assistant /2nd XI manager. I think though there needs to be some reward for the 2nd XI managers as well. Otherwise what might happen is that teams get 11 specialists of 1 type and 11 specialists of the other form and then give the 2nd XI the scraps making the 2nd XI relatively useless and extremely weak. Overall though it sounds really promising and look forward to the effort ahead.
still a lot of work to do before the season starts, so we wont give a time frame, just ask for people to be patient and we'll try and get going as soon as we can...andyc said:Sounds good, bring on the season
Ah yes that would be what I had forgotten to take into account. All good now.broncoman said:the 2nd xi sides would be quite strong, cause all the players are WCC standard as they are coming from the defunct teams
Oh yeah, didn't want it to sound like I was rushing you guys. Take all the time you needbroncoman said:still a lot of work to do before the season starts, so we wont give a time frame, just ask for people to be patient and we'll try and get going as soon as we can...
well its possible, keeping in mind at this stage not every side will actually have a 2nd XI manager, i guess its likely that the more experienced WCC managers will probably be asked to manager their 2nd XI team...burkey_1988 said:So can we choose our 2nd XI managers? That question was overlooked methinks.
