Really showed how much of a two man team the greens were! Without Timewell and Hoy ..... nothing.

Given the list of players that have moved on from Green over the last few seasons including Cloete, Goff, Towns, Feeney, Weber and probably others that escape me righ now i wouldn't say that Green were ever a 2 man team - that said Nathan Hoy is the best player in the Dev league for mine.

From memory, season 8 was the greens season....and from memory, there was no cloete (he was at blue), and towns played a minor role (as ever har har)... and weber was a nice rookie.

Sure, you lost Goff last season .....

So the last few seasons can't be that bad :P Yes, green had a lot of rookies in season 10 ... but fell to pieces without Hoy and Timewell... heee ... i'm so mean :(

CW Green, Season 8 players ony...

DP Towns (moved)
A Feeney (moved)
BJ Goff (moved)
AP Cloete (moved)
AJ Garven (c)
A Lezama (wk)
RJ Verghese (inactive season 10)
NS Hoy (moved)
XPA Rose
R Timewell (inactive)
D Delkap (inactive)

Would you call that side weak? Would you call it a two man show? Hell, I wouldn't. That's not even including Weber in his phenomenal first season, so you can put him in for Delkap or Verghese and still have a very strong side.

To be fair, you are actually missing Rai, Malone, N ROse, Cunningham, Gray, RG not RJ Verghese, Sajith and Walsh :p Towns, you hardly played that year, and I can't remeber Cloete having a crack in the FC arena? Delkap wasn't there in season 8 ? I can't remember.

Anyway, just having a go at green :p

I was going by the a post I made on the first page of the CW Green thread so it's possible that Malone & co either hadn't played at that point or hadn't joined us at that point, or something... not sure.

I know what he meant, it was just a funny way to state it. Besides, we're all keen on real cricket at this stage. Not that Australia/England/Holland/USA/T&T muppet cricket.
