First one I thought of.Chris Pringle to Bruce Reid...
Ponting’s face as he walks is off is as if to say ‘how am I, the best batsman in the world, meant to play that?’And here is that over from Flintoff to Langer and Ponting
His over to Yuvraj Singh maybeStuart Broad may have sent down a contender in one of his god-like match winning spells.
Or BumrahHis over to Yuvraj Singh maybe
Clarke's God Mode was genuinely as good as anyone's. Only Lara of blokes I've seen could go a gear more crazy than Clarke when he went coco bananas. It just didn't matter who bowled what, he carved it.
This was awesome to watch at the time especially since it came after Morkel had bowled serious heat and sconed him a couple of time (not sure if it was the same innings).
That was the first over of Day 3 I think. Sachin actually nicked a ball but wasn't given.Dale Steyn to Sachin Tendulkar at Cape Town. Steyn bowled within himself at 129 to 133 k's but got the ball to swing from middle and leg to outside off stump, forced Sachin to play every ball who got beaten outside off all the time.
If you watch the slow motion, the ball actually bounces just before it enters Boucher's gloves, the umpire made a very fluke decision to give that not out, obvious he did not see that. That was the first over of Day 3 I think. Sachin actually nicked a ball but wasn't given.
Here at 0:47 onwards
This is amazing. Never came across it before. Freddy was among the most gifted of all cricketers I saw. He probably underachieved despite already impressive stats..
Lillee v Viv Richards in the miracle match (Gillette Cup) for WA v QLD in the 70's, 4 consecutive bouncers, and bowled him on the last, they defended 77 to win
It's a hard innings to judge. It's the only time I've ever seen anyone survive Steyn in that form, which should make it one of the best. So many near edges, which just suggests it was an incredibly lucky one though. The way he was holding his off stump down meant he was making his own luck to a big degree though. If you watch the slow motion, the ball actually bounces just before it enters Boucher's gloves, the umpire made a very fluke decision to give that not out, obvious he did not see that.
Not the most picturesque knock but possibly his best test knock considering the difficulty of bowling and conditions.
