I think he's the most likely to return to the PGA. It was interesting seeing his segment with Kaufman on Friday, he clearly loved playing in front of big crowds at Bay Hill for example. Now whether his win brings more people to LIV (I suspect not because most people seem to have their views set in stone on LIV one way or another), he's a showman who needs to feel the love of adoring fans. No surprise he's thriving in the Majors when he's got the big numbers watching him.

Not sure he's bigger than Rory though, he's got a lot of convincing still to do for fans outside the US who see him as an annoying Frat Boy....but he has matured a lot recently.
Bryson seems to enjoy LIV and credits his teammates with helping him to improve

Also said that he prefers the schedule as it allows him to work on his game more, travel and do his YouTube thing

Like most of them, he’s said that he would like to play a couple of his favourite PGAT events but that’s about it

It was some shot he hit to get that look from the caddie.

It's interesting looking back now at that weekend, Finau had a 7 on Saturday (from the middle of the fairway), Aberg had a 7 on both weekend days. Tony's in particular is probably one he'll want to forget as much as Rory's putts given he finished only 2 back. But Rory is not the only one with regrets.

Unsurprisingly, he's taking a couple of weeks off (ridiculous PGA scheduling of Signature - US Open - Signature). Next to be seen at the Scottish Open and then Troon (where he was 5th last time it was played there, so he's got form).

Bryson’s victory is the best thing to happen to golf in years
He seems like he's a fairly decent guy now. However, because he is the great American jock of golf, which means everything he says sound overly earnest (when he said "it was probably the shot of my life", I nearly burst out laughing at the tone it was spoken in), he comes across as a bit of a ****wit.

Yeah, I’m just thankful we only have to put up with his sanctimonious bull 4 times a year now. He seems to be almost working too hard to make himself likeable, most of us haven’t forgotten what he was like previously.

Quite a few in the professional game (players, caddies, etc) coming out & saying Bryson has always been a good guy and engaging with fans

He’s a yank so not exactly my type but golf seriously needs a shot in the arm & the fans have taken to him if the ratings are anything to go by

Meanwhile, the PGAT are hoping that the corpse of Tiger can maintain interest in their signature events

The guy is the GOAT so nothing wrong with them giving him a lifetime exemption but his recent rewards seem far more contrived than Bryson

Don’t know much about the depth or the players in the field but 7 ladies shot 10 over or worse in the first round of the latest major while many were under par

That ain’t great

Decent start by Aditi Ashok. Nelly in contention again. Thompson leading but let's see if she can stay at or around the top...

I'd say a certain type of US fan has taken to him, not entirely sure they're good for the future of golf.

Didn't watch any but saw some comments about the course from Michael Kim (who's such a great follow on X). He basically said it's the narrowest course he's ever played with tree lined fairways, so not exactly hard to rack up big scores if your driver is off. What it has done is created a really nice global mix at the top of the leaderboard, hoping Charley can hang around this weekend and make it interesting.

That is quite a tumble down the leaderboard by Korda…on track to miss her third consecutive cut…

Scheffler with his 6th win of the season!
It was a bit surreal seeing him up against Tom Kim, not often you get two best mates in a play off.

And then of course there was the 18th green protest....

Would need Social to provide a LIV update from the weekend, only thing I've seen on Social Media is Rahm once again doing his nut over the drones putting him off a shot. If ever there was proof that money can't buy you happiness.....

Didn’t watch any golf but I thought that the party line was that Rahm didn’t care anymore

Anyway, good to see LIV golfers Reed & Catlin supporting the DPWT in Italy next week

Shame that Molinari can’t do the same for his home open but I guess he cares more about the money on another tour. Oh, the irony!

That's doing some heavy lifting - I think a better description might be 'desperately trying to earn some ranking points'.

I agree, poor from Molinari. Rory gets grief and he's played 14 of the last 17 Irish Opens, even gave his prizemoney away in one of them!!

Rory is an easy target atm

Jason Day hasn’t played in Australia for 7 years and barely a peep from the corporate media other than congratulating him on his undeserved Olympic selection

DPWT is a shambles after selling its soul to the PGAT

Someone pointed out that a top 7 in the co-sanctioned Australian Open was worth less ranking points than finishing dead fkn last in a signature tournament a month later

The Italian Open will be worse & it’s not sustainable

I believe Molinari has a generally poor attendance record in Italy, much like Sergio did in Spain. Rahm does generally turn up for that one though.

DPWT still seems to be getting decent crowds, bigger than LIV anyway.

Funny to see everyone congregated round the 18th green yesterday as the protesters left their mark. I guess that's the one good thing about LIV, they'd have no idea which green to target in a Shotgun farce!!

C'mon Akshay, good to see you are kind of a regular on the top of leaderboards recently but you need to be able to close the deal when you have such a good chance, they don't come too often...anyway well done Davis!

I think I read it was 67 million to 1 that you have 2 in the same round - god knows what it is for consecutive holes. Can't believe it's ever been done before. Also, did you see how windy it was too???

That was a bit of a choke-athon. So many of them had chances and Davis kind of fell into the lead by accident. The worst one is Cam Young who seems utterly incapable of sealing the deal. Having said that, the form he's currently in, can see him going well at the Open.
