The Final

he was alright but he missed plenty obvious ones and got saved by tmo like that knock on leading to that disallowed all blacks try. Doubt this will help out the cricketers much that’s all in them
Ref doesn’t always get the best view. Surprised the touch judge didn’t help him out on that one, seemed clear from his angle.

Well that's a shame. Played all the rugby in the second half, just those missed kicks that cost us. Can argue we should have taken the shots at goal from those penalties rather than kicking to the corner, but it's all ifs and buts and maybes, for all we know we would have missed them anyway.

Considering everyone was going on about how terrible the All Blacks are these days they've nearly won the thing and probably should have. Never mind, the cricket is ours

Thought they were all pretty much picked up on.
The Savea penalty that the Boks kicked 3 points from was the wrong call (the ref even admitted his mistake). The penalty against the Bok line out for playing the man in the air was wrong, no infringement. The TMO calls back the AB try for a knock on earlier in the play, but ignores the obvious forward pass two minutes later during the AB try. It was inconsistent, poor and ruined the game as a spectacle.

You could do this for every game of rugby (or football for that matter). NZ had their chances but didn’t take them (unlike SA last week).

No, think that generation of ABs was the best I've seen across all positions and combinations.

That's the third time SA have won the final without crossing the try line (scored twice in 2019), although in fairness Barrett's try was the first they conceded after over 5 hours of rugby finals.
Yeah, the 2015 AB's in particular were the furthest ahead of the pack of any team in history save for maybe 87 (and that was obviously a completely different era). This SA team is incredible though, finding a way to scrape 1 point wins back to back to back, absolutely ice-veined will to win. Bad luck to the AB's. Tried their hearts out, and to actually dominate the 2nd half when they were a man down was incredible. Don't really understand how Kolisi didn't wind up with a red but it is what it is.

Well done lads. Suck it haters

Going by the comments you would swear you were watching Nadia Comăneci doing a floor routine or something.

Irony is the whole debate of the Bok kickers, but it was the AB's kickers that lost them the game

Although New Zealand will probably win it in 2027
