Will players like Shane Bond who have benefitted from playing relatively few games and - in Bond's case - generally against sub-standard opposition, be penalised/adjusted?

There'll be some minor adjustments for such players like Bond, but it won't be a major change.

All 12 are in, so I'll most likely run it tonight - won't change the next deadline, just give you all more time.

It's advisable to have back-up in case of injuries I would suggest - I guess a part-time keeper might be the option (ie someone who is predominantly a batsman, but has done some keeping in the past so he won't be a highly rated keeper)

There is a reason why you have 16 man sqaud, i rather have squad depth problems then sqaud quailty. How you going finding your 12 Indian or is it South Africans this round

Good call Tharmi.

Garvens plan seems good in theory, but put into practice it is poor - I myself was going to go down the same route that Andrew has.

However, we'll see which was the better option come the season

are you saying im missing out on quality? Flower, Dempster, Miandad, Jayawardene not quality? they arn't Bradman but they all average over 50 with the bat, which ain't too shabby, which is more than likley better than you will do out of those countries

Jayawardene doesn't average over 50 and Miandad isn't that far over. I think you might regret not going for better batsmen for your 2nd and 4th round picks. I would be very surprised if most teams use more then 14 players throughtout the season. So you afford to have two average players in your sqaud. You never know it could end up being a master stroke or maybe a waste of early round picks.

Does it matter if your openers are openers? For example, could I pick Lara and Martyn (EXAMPLES) and open with them, and would that make them perform worse?
