Great comeback after last set back. Very good performance by the bowlers, still not the even batting performances that we're looking for.

Decent performance there...the batting still lacks solidity, but at least this time we put up enough runs to sneak a win. Excellent bowling throughout as well. Pleased to get my third consecutive OD 50 - highest score as well!

Downs to Captain CricketWeb in Practice Match

The following players have been selected to an Invitational XI to play a 3-day game against England on the 5th:

T Mamesh (Colts)
* DP Towns (Colts))

Congrats to Daniel (our stand-in captain) and Mamesh, both who have been selected to play i this Invitational XI match. It shows how well some of our players are developing, as well as how good our vice-capain is (he's also been selected to lead the side).

In other news, we lost our latest game as our top order crumbled at Hobart. Apart from a lower-order fightback (Hancock 44, Brown 24, Tucker 22) we were bowled out for 175, which Black chased in just 38.4 overs. Our batting really needs more consistancy if we're going to trouble the top teams.

Looks like we are starting to find our feet in the Dev League, hopefully these wins are signs of things to come. Out of interest go i miss a game for the Colts when i play for the invitational XI.
