Colts player ratings for FC game against Green
S.G. Fitzsimmons: Scores of 30 and 37 just weren't good enough on the pitch provided, especially from a man in good form. He should be converting those scores into big ones. 4/10
M. Hopgood: It is important for Hopgood to convert his starts. The reason he was selected in this game was because he had a hundred where Malthus had not converted his starts. Will need to convert these in future games. 4/10
D.P. Towns: Towns showed how important he is to the side. He had no problem returning to the FC arena with a fine century in the first innings, which at least made sure the Colts weren't facing a big first innings deficit and possible defeat. Also got in some extra batting practice in the second innings with a good not out score. 10/10
C.R. Butler: Looked a little rusty in the white clothes, however he spent time in the middle which is the most important thing for 'Buts' as he resumes his career with the Colts. Will need to start converting his starts. 4/10
S. Jasotharan: Continues to blaze attacks and score at a freakish rate. However, he needs to realise that sometimes he needs to temper his attacking flair to build partnerships. He also realises he shouldn't be wasting his good form. Good game with the gloves. 5/10
W.A. Kerr: The rookie continues to impress after a slow start to his FC career. A handy first innings score, and yet another second innings not out. 5/10
M.W. Wilson: Contributed well with the bat in the first innings, and bowled tidily and picked up important wickets. It is becoming evident why the Colts chased him so hard, he makes a bid difference to the side. 8/10
N.R. Hancock: Didn't get much of an opportunity with the bat, and was a little expensive with his bowling. However, he did pick up two important wickets 4.5/10
T.V. Weber: Weber must continually get frustrated not being able to bowl to a pitch of his liking, as he has shown what he can do when the pitch is spin-friendly. To keep his spot in the side, he needs to contribute more with the bat. 3/10
K.S. Wright: The Colts captain is still struggling for form, and a pitch like this would have done no good to his confidence. Still has the habit of getting set batsmen out. 1/10
G.M. Thomas: Is slowly building the reputation of a once-in-a-lifetime bowler. Even though the pitch was in the favour of the batsmen, he was still able to pick up three wickets. 6/10
